this dairy-free Cheeseburger Bowl brings all the classic burger flavors in one satisfying, bunless bowl. It’s hearty, fresh, and topped with a tangy secret sauce that pulls it all together.
Ingredients
the bowl
- 1 lb 90/10 ground sirloin, seasoned with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika
- 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 tbsp olive oil (for roasting)
- 2 tsp olive oil (for sautéing)
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups shredded romaine or iceberg lettuce
- 1 avocado, sliced or diced
- 1/2 cup grape tomatoes, halved
- 1/3 cup dill pickles, chopped
dairy-free sweet & tangy sauce
- 1/4 cup light mayo
- 1 tbsp low sugar ketchup
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp finely chopped dill pickles
- 1 tbsp pickle juice
Instructions
- preheat oven to 400°F. toss diced sweet potatoes with olive oil, salt, and pepper. roast for 25 – 30 minutes until golden and tender.
- while potatoes roast, add 2 tsp olive oil to skillet. sauté chopped onion and garlic in skillet until soft. add seasoned ground sirloin and cook until browned and fully cooked.
- in a small bowl, whisk together all the sauce ingredients until smooth. set aside.
- to assemble: layer lettuce, roasted sweet potatoes, seasoned beef, tomatoes, avocado, pickles, and drizzle with the secret sauce.
- serve and enjoy!
