Instructions

  1. In a large Dutch oven, heat oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the beef, garlic, and onion, cooking until the beef is browned. Drain off any excess fat, then stir in the seasonings, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and beans.
  2. Reduce heat and let simmer on low for 45 minutes.
  3. In a small bowl, mix 1/2 cup of water with masa harina, then stir it into the chili. Season with sea salt and pepper to taste, and serve with chopped green onion and fresh parsley.
