Cherry Crumble

This easy crumble is bursting with juicy, sweet-tart cherries and topped with a golden, crumbly, oat crust.
Ingredients
cherry filling
- 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted, rinsed, dried
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 cup fresh 100% orange juice
GF crisp topping
- 3/4 cup old fashioned rolled oats
- 1/4 cup GF baking mix
- ½ cup packed light brown sugar
- dash of salt
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 cup cold, cubed salted plant butter
Instructions
- preheat your oven to 375 and coat a loaf pan with non-stick cooking spray
- in a mixing bowl, add cherries, cornstarch, vanilla, and orange juice. set aside
- combine all dry topping ingredients. add in cold butter and press the dry mixture into the butter using your fingers to make crumbles
- transfer cherries to your prepared loaf pan and sprinkle the crisp topping evenly across the top
- place the loaf pan on a baking sheet in case any juices spill over. place the whole thing in the center of the lower rack in the oven
- bake for 35 minutes and crumb topping is golden brown
